Buffalo Tools doubles data transfer speeds

Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage and wireless networking devices, today announced the availability of its next generation performance enhancing software, Buffalo Tools. The software gives users increased speed and easier backup on its external or portable storage devices including Buffalo MiniStation Lite, MiniStation and DriveStation.
Buffalo Tools offers valuable enhancements such as TurboPC and Turbo Copy which increase file transfer speed and copy performance by up to two times, compared to standard USB2.0 portable hard drives. Additionally, Buffalo Backup software offers a simplified solution for data backup and restoration. The initial launch of Buffalo Tools will be limited to the MiniStation Lite, MiniStation and the DriveStation HD-CXTU2 external hard drives, while future MiniStation and DriveStation products will carry it as standard.
